A 17-year veteran of the industry, Denise Vitola is a creative PR professional specializing in integrated marketing and social campaigns, linking pop culture, commerce, human connections and consumers to tell stories for major brands. Her leadership focuses on client relations, strategic planning and increasing revenue.

Vitola has a proven track record for creating and managing holistic marketing communications programs that engage target audiences through paid, earned, owned and shared tactics that often exceed business goals. Vitola has led triple-digit business growth, and was recently named Managing Director at Makovsky, where she is already a vibrant addition to the client roster and firm’s culture. In late 2014, Vitola was honored by the Atlanta’s Women’s Foundation for her work in creating their three year marketing plan (all her time was donated). She values giving back to students, especially young and talented aspiring PR professionals. She often speaks at industry, community and educational forums and has been a guest speaker at NYU, Rowan University, Monmouth University, and Seton Hall. Vitola spends a lot of her time mentoring young talent. In fact, she is currently a University of North Carolina student mentor.
