Cessie leads and executes publicity efforts, internal communications strategies and event and trade show activations for the Palace Resorts brand globally. Additionally, she continues to strategically manage the company’s public relations agency, Newlink Communications, for publicity efforts in Canada, the United States and Mexico. With proven track records, a keen understanding of the brand and hands-on experience, Cessie has been instrumental in the company’s success.
Palace Resorts embarked on its most exciting chapter in 2014 with the pending launch of Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, the brand’s first property outside of Mexico, expected to open in 2015. Cessie showcased her ability to generate substantial partnerships by acting as a liaison between the brand and the Jamaica Tourism Authority, Jamaican government officials including the office of the Minister of Tourism, as well as working hand in hand with the Jamaican Consulate in New York. She created a solid foundation for future partnerships and navigated the potentially delicate foray into the region. She also ensured that all Palace Resorts executives and employees, from the CEO to housekeeping staff, received and utilized the appropriate messaging for the brand’s next stage.
