Expertly leading Discovery’s powerful internal agency, Catherine Frymark spearheads communications efforts for Discovery Channel, TLC and Animal Planet. In the spring of 2013, both her portfolio and team nearly doubled as her responsibilities were extended to include financial communications, communications support for the office of the CEO and a greater level of involvement in all overarching corporate initiatives as a corporate spokesperson.
Catherine played an integral role in launching Discovery’s first ever corporate brand campaign, an unprecedented endeavor designed to communicate to consumers, investors and policy makers the wide reach and depth of the company’s global portfolio. In both conception and execution, Catherine helped to mold a first of its kind campaign for the company, something that lives both on and off the air and will continue to remind viewers of Discovery’s curiosity driven content.
