Lane & Coady Adds VPs
Beauty products and toiletries specialist PR firm Lane & Coady, New
York, hired a new vice president and promoted another executive to
vice president.
Beth James, account supervisor, was promoted to vice president.
Barbra Kagan, a former beauty editor with Good Housekeeping, joined

vice president in the professional/financial services group. He was
vice president/group manager at G.S. Schwartz & Co., New York.

Hill and Knowlton Inc., New York, named Edmund Belak Jr. as head of
the New York office's financial relations group. He was a managing
director and member of the board of directors at investor relations
and proxy solicitation company Georgeson & Co., New York.

Ambit Marketing Communications, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., hired Bruce
Budd as vice president. Budd was vice president/communications for
the Broward Economic Development Council, Fort Lauderdale.

Citigate Albert Frank, New York, added Christopher Finn as senior vice
president and account director. He held the position of vice
president and marketing at J.P. Morgan & Co. [JPM].

Art Forster joind Hill and Knowlton Inc., New York, as senior managing
director in the risk managing and crisis communications group.
Forster served most recently as director of the public affairs office
of the U.S. Air Force Eastern Region, New York.

Lippincott & Marguilies, a corporate and brand identity consulting
firm, appointed Will Gordon as vice president and manager of its San
Francisco office. Gordon was vice president and West Coast manger of
Mercer Management Consulting, San Francisco.

Susan Landis joined Richards/Gravelle, Dallas, as vice president and
account director. She was director of strategy and planning for
Publicis Public Relations, Dallas.
