Amanda Brown-Olmstead, who heads A. Brown-Olmstead Associates, Atlanta, has been nominated as chair-elect of the Counselors Academy, the PR agency section of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). If approved at PRSA's national meeting next month in St. Louis, Brown-Olmstead will begin her term after the 1997 annual conference of PRSA, Nov. 9-12 in Nashville.
Gary Myers, a principal at Morgan & Myers, Jefferson, Wis., selected as chair-elect last year, begins his term as chairman after next month's PRSA conference. (PRSA, 212/995-2230)
