Jeffrey M. Drazen, M.D., joins July 1 as editor-in-chief, replacing Marcia Angell, M.D., acting editor-in-chief. In addition to driving the editorial direction of the journal,
he will have complete authority over its brand, including the use of the name, logo, look and feel, in both the print and electronic versions of the Journal. Drazen is chief of
Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and the Parker B. Francis Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
