Ewatch, the Internet monitoring company, now offers a Web tracking service that indexes more than 1,000 electronic newspapers, magazines, e-zines and other news portals - including password-protected sites to which clients have subscribed. Powered by new technology known as a "Web content pump," the smart service checks content updates on specific sites as they occur throughout the day. The service also features a "keyword intercept" function, which highlights users' specified search terms as they appear in online documents. Subscriber costs are based on a flat fee pricing system.
