Web Credibility

What can you do to make your corporate site credible in the eyes of the consumer? Makovsky & Co. is teaming with Stanford University researchers to measure just how
audiences determine whether a Web site is credible. Results from the study are expected in February. Stanford's Persuasive Technology Lab conducted a study in 1999 to determine
what elements of a site make it believable for a general audience (see the results at http://www.webcredibility.org) and will compare
those results with the latest findings. Anyone wishing to take part in the survey can access the questionnaire at http://www.webresearch.org.
