U.S. Viewers Starved for News

Consumers can't get enough of the news since Sept. 11 according to Duffey Communications' recently-released annual "Viewing the Media" survey, which examines how views of the
media have changed over a given year. This year's survey shows 29 percent of Americans are watching more local and national news programs and 23 percent are monitoring the news
online more often. Duffey conducted the survey among 1,000 American adults this February. (Matt Wright, 404/266-2600 ext. 223, [email protected])
