Say What?

Kids, don't try this at home. Web speed is not something to play around with. Last week, we received a premature email from our colleagues at the Chisholm-Mingo Group with
the following subject line:

DENNY'S PRESIDENT & CEO JIM ADAMSON HONORED AT THE THURGOOD MARSHALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND'S 13TH ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER.

Five emails later (indicating varying degrees of panicky corrections and redundancies), we arrived at this corrected version:

DENNY'S PRESIDENT & CEO JIM ADAMSON PRESENTS TOMMY MOTTOLA WITH AWARD AT THE THURGOOD MARSHALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND'S 13TH ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER (REVISED).

Which is worse? Pissing off your entire press list by flooding their in-boxes, or embarrassing your client's CEO by effectively demoting him from illustrious award-winner to
Vanna handing out trophies?
