Promotions Linked to e-Profitability

Only one in four Web businesses have a formal budget for site promotions, but those who do are most likely already profitable, according to a new study by ActivMedia Research.
The study reports that Web sites will spend 10%, or $13.1 billion, of total revenues on site promotions this year. Of that, about $11.2 billion will be spent by b-to-b and b-to-c
sites.
