POPPE TYSON FILES FOR IPO

Ad/PR agency Poppe Tyson, a unit of Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt, disclosed last week that it has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) of $50 million. The company has entered a "quiet period," and a spokesperson declined to say whether the agency would be spun off in whole or in part from its parent.

During the past two years, the agency has been in the forefront of using new, interactive media to offer advertising and marketing solutions. (Poppe Tyson, 212/727-5535)
