  • Hill & Knowlton hires Betsy Freeman, former president and senior consultant for Futurevision, Inc., as senior managing director of its
    Reston, Va., office.

  • Jennifer Grace is promoted from VP to chief client officer, a new position, at The ProMarc Agency. She now leads strategy development teams.
    Deborah Pain jumps from VP to the new position of chief knowledge officer, handling client research and measurement.

  • Ketchum Dallas hires Reese Heft as VP, investor relations and Nancy Nuzzo as VP/account supervisor. Heft is a former securities lawyer
    who last served as VP institutional sales with GroomeCapital.com and VP, private placements/equity with Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance Canada. Nuzzo joins the agency's
    Dallas offices from Ketchum New York, where she previously worked on consumer product accounts.

  • Golin/Harris International appoints Melissa Skolfield SVP and director of its DC Healthcare practice group. Skolfield previously serves as
    assistant secretary for public affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

  • Mike Sockol leaves executive director post at Brodeur Interactive to join Makovsky & Co. as SVP and head of the agency's interactive
    practice.

  • Jeff Cohen leaves Infotech Strategies in DC to join Ketchum/Pittsburgh as VP/group manager of its technology practice.

  • Mary Bartholomew, regional managing director, Golin/Harris Europe, retires after 30 years in the PR business.

  • Horst Teltschik, an expert on international business and politics, signs on as adviser to Edelman in Germany. Teltschik will advise Edelman clients
