  • Estee Lauder promotes Marianne Diorio from VP, communications to SVP, communications for the company's specialty brands. Florence Nimo becomes VP, global communications.
  • Men's Health hires Aimee Geller Promisel as director of PR. Previously, Promisel headed up PR for Planet Hollywood.
  • BAE Systems, a global systems, defense and aerospace company, promotes Bob Hastings to VP, public affairs and communications. Hastings was director of corporate
    communications for Marconi North America when the company merged with British Aerospace in 1999 and became BAE Systems.
  • Express promotes Haley Boehning to director, internal communications. She joined Express in 1997 and was most recently communications manager.
  • Wendy Tischler is promoted to director, internal communications, at The Limited. Previously, she was manager, associate communications.
  • Vivendi Universal Interactive Publishing hires Angela Emery as director, communications. She previously served as director of worldwide communications for Fox Interactive.
  • Farmer Jack Supermar-kets promotes John Ponzio to VP of public and government affairs. Before joining Farmer Jack in 2000, Ponzio was director of public affairs and special
    events at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.

  • John Jordan, formerly SVP at Porter Novelli, joins The Aker Partners as a consulting partner and director of its technology practice.
  • Burson-Marsteller appoints Dan Tarman managing director of the firm's corporate/financial practice in Northern California. Tarman has been managing director of B-M's
    operations in Florida since 1996.
  • Dome Communications names Rob Eiseman creative director. Prior to his promotion, Eiseman was senior consultant overseeing many of Dome's consumer and professional service
    accounts.
  • Edelman hires Larry Sennet as president of Edelman Technology. Sennet was previously global managing director for Ogilvy PR's technology practice.
  • Edelman's Atlanta office promotes Warren Wilkinson to deputy general manager. He previously was senior counsel for several of the office's major accounts and SVP of Edelman
    Atlanta's reputation management practice.
  • Pam Miracle becomes director of Fleishman-Hillard's European technology business. Lynne Anne Stevenson, SVP, senior partner and managing director of the Hong Kong office,
    replaces Miracle as regional director of the firm's Asia Pacific operations. Beth Boswell is named managing director of the firm's Hong Kong office.
  • Christine Chauvet becomes president-directeur général of Fleishman-Hillard France. She previously was with France's national foreign trade bureau.
