Consumer Services. - Sorceron, a streaming media software company, hires Therese Bruno as director, marketing communications. Bruno most recently worked with Softimage/Avid Technology.
- The 5.1 Entertainment Group (which operates several production and record label lines) appoints Jacqui Chazen director of public relations. Chazen previously served as
director of public relations for Gear Magazine in New York City.

- Sheila Fagan joins Hill and Knowlton as senior managing director. Fagan previously served as EVP of SCIENS Worldwide Public Relations.
- Nancy Brennan is appointed managing director of Manning, Selvage & Lee's Chicago office. Brennan was the company's deputy managing director. Former SVP and Healthcare
Practice Director Jeff Burnett takes over Brennan's old position. - VCPR Inc. adds Frederick Hoar to its executive staff. Hoar was previously chairman at Miller/Shandwick Technologies.
- Kerri Glover is named SVP of Ackermann PR. Glover was founder and managing director of Alexander Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide's Washington D.C. office.
- Burson-Marsteller promotes Amy Federman to director of client services. Federman will continue to be part of Burson-Marsteller Global Media Network as head of the Florida
Media Practice. - Edward Howard & Co. promotes former President and Chief Executive Officer Kathleen Obert to chairman and chief executive officer. Wayne Hill, APR, former EVP, is elected president.
- Middleberg Euro RSCG announces the addition of Mat Wolfrom as director of technology. He was most recently SVP account services, at Wilson McHenry Company.
- Steve Piork joins Kroll Inc. as public relations manager. He was previously an account manager with RLM Public Relations.
