More Tech Pubs Sign Off

The latest edition of the technology pub obituaries includes two local pubs and suite of international mags: Washington Business Forward, launched in 1999 as a glossy
Washington, D.C.-area tech pub covering the area's once-burgeoning high-tech market, is likely to close. The pub has laid off most of its staffers, and what looks to be the final
issue is due out around Thanksgiving, though founder Jeremy Brosowsky is still looking for a buyer ... Potomac Tech Journal, another Washington technology publishing mainstay, is
officially closing due to loss of ad sales. The weekly newspaper had gone bi-weekly to attempt to avoid closure. The paper's sister publication, Washington Business Journal, will
not be affected ... CMP Media shuts down a trio of its technology publications, including the 24-year-old, U.K.-based Electronic Engineering Times (closed with the Oct. 28 issue);
Electronic Engineering Design (ceasing publication with the November issue); and Microwave Engineering Europe. The publications' Web site, eetuk.com, will live on with content
