Counselor Magazine

3201 S.W. 15 Street

Deerfield, FL 33442

Editors at Counselor: The Magazine for Addiction can't get enough information about how to help healthcare professionals manage their patients' drug and alcohol addictions. The
recently merged magazine is a combination of two publications: Health Communications' Professional Counselor and the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors'
The Counselor.

The bimonthly magazine, which will debut in September, is expected to be the largest publication that covers the addiction field, reaching more than 30,000 industry
professionals, including counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists, researchers, law enforcement professionals and educators.

Pitch the editors with relevant information on overcoming a wide range of addictions, from drugs and alcohol to gambling and sexual compulsions. The magazine also covers the
indirect effects of addiction, like depression, physical and domestic abuse and mental health issues.

Health Coverage

The magazine covers the addiction field by providing information in these core areas:

  • treatment and research;
  • case studies;
  • legislative issues and government regulations;
  • reimbursement and practice management; and
  • industry events and meetings.
