Media Relations Specialist

The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), the society for food science and technology, seeks a media relations professional to join its communications team. You will enjoy
diverse opportunities to interact with national and international consumer and trade press to advance the understanding of the science underpinning popular food-related
issues.

You will develop and manage effective strategies and programs to bridge the ournalism community with distinguished scientists, and implement and manage activities to
communicate the scientific perspective about food issues and raise the awareness of food science/technology and the society's activities. A strategist with experience working with
print and broadcast media, science
writing talent, and initiative will flourish in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, five or more years professional work experience in communications, journalism, or related field, and exceptional interpersonal and written
and verbal communications skills. Education or experience in science field desirable.

Coordinator, Corporate Communications

Corn Products International, Inc., one of the world's largest corn refiners, is seeking a Coordinator, Corporate Communications to help support the Company's daily
communication needs. Responsibilities include tracking and processing incoming comments to the Company Web site, writing and coordinating materials for the website and corporate
communications pieces, as well as work with vendors on various projects. Additionally, you will develop and update Company presentations, databases and Company-wide messages. The
ideal candidate is a creative thinker, skilled writer and good proofreader with a Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field and a minimum of 1 year's agency
or corporate experience.
