Agencies Strengthen Their Operations with New Ventures

  • MWW/Strategic Communications, East Rutherford, N.J., acquired Chicago-based Agenda Communications on Jan. 16. The 10-person agency will be renamed MWW/Agenda and will maintain its offices in downtown Chicago as well as in Springfield, Ill

    Christine F. LaPaille, who founded Agenda in 1989 and served as its president, will become managing director of MWW/Agenda and senior VP of MWW/SC. (MWW, 201/507-9500)

  • The Big Apple may have its fair share of PR agencies, but add one more to the list: The Terpin Group, a PR agency headquartered in Marina del Rey, Calif., has added another office to its three-location roster (other sites are in Los Angeles and San Francisco).     ADP Investor Services Partners with Business Wire

    On Jan. 14, ADP Investor Communication Services, Edgewood, N.Y., inked a deal with Business Wire, an international provider of investor relations information. The agreement gives Business Wire, based San Francisco, preferred rights to market StreetLink, a communications services that offers quarterly reports and other corporate information to shareholders.     Cramer-Krasselt to Help Orlando Science Center

    Cramer-Krasselt, Orlando, Fla., has been retained by The Orlando Sience Center to help brand its new facility, scheduled to open in February. The assignment includes coming up with branding strategies, developing graphic guidelines for print, broadcast, outdoor advertising and direct-mail advertising, and designing its newsletter.
