Goal! Recently acquired by Scholastic, Soccer Jr. Magazine
is looking for product pitches. The bimonthly book, with 100,000 paid subscribers
(which Scholastic hopes to double within a year), devotes nearly a third of
its pages to product launches. Here, editors take a consumer buyers' guide approach
to soccer equipment and apparel, helping their readers, ages 8 to 14 (mostly
boys) make better purchasing decisions. But don't dally emailing your product
