How the Web was Won

You know a medium has "arrived" when it's amassed its own entourage of trade association awards gigs. Last week the Web Marketing Association announced the winners of its third annual WebAwards for corporate Web sites, with "Best of Show" honors going to the interactive agency Rare Medium for creating artmuseum.net, a digital museum tour presented by Intel Corp. The competition, which garnered more than 700 entries worldwide, weighed factors such as design, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, ease of use and use of technology.
