  • Two-thirds of all employees are happiest on the job when they feel like they're part of a team.
  • More than one-third of employees cite the potential for career advancement as a primary reason for staying put in one job.
  • Roughly 30% of Baby Boomers (ages 45-54) call themselves "workaholics," while 19% of Baby Busters (ages 35-44) describe themselves as such. Only 13% of Generations Xers (ages 25-34) use the moniker. And yet, all three groups put in their fair share of hours. Half of Boomers (48%), half of Busters (48%) and 43% of GenXers all claim to work at least 10 hours per day.
