MWWPR believes employee development begins on day one, and advancement opportunities are available to staff members as early as their first year. The company has a robust annual review system in place to help assess employee performance and set goals. Further, senior managers meet regularly with account staff to assess employee development opportunities and agency needs. This ensures an ongoing discussion with MWWPR Executive Management to determine where there may be new career opportunities based on employee interest or client need.
In March 2015, MWW set the stage for an internal rebrand to assess and communicate its values and create a declaration of who it is as an agency. MWW brought employees together at all levels across offices, disciplines and specialty areas to capture the true essence of the agency. As a result, MWW externally rebranded as MWWPR.
Furthermore, MWWPR is committed to its employees’ professional growth, and wants them to develop a long and successful career with the company. To that end, MWWPR offers tuition reimbursement in addition to a unique benefit available only to employees – "Matter More University."
Matter More University is a comprehensive professional learning and development initiative for staff at all job and competency levels fashioned after university classes. Incorporating both live and online training by internal and external presenters, mentoring, roundtables, and learning resources, the proprietary university programs were designed to play a pivotal role in sustaining MWWPR’s high level of client service and enabling staff to develop their careers. The MWWPR team is highly encouraged to suggest program topics based on additional areas in which they would like to expand their knowledge, and even to volunteer to develop and present course material on the topics in which they are category experts.
