ASIAN WOMEN’S HEALTH NEGLECTED

A study released last week by the National Asian Women's Health Organization (NAWHO) concluded that Asian-American women in California "are not getting sufficient reproductive healthcare."

The study surveyed 674 Asian-American women in six California counties. The women were of more than 20 different Asian ethnicities; 66% were foreign born. The remaining were second-and third-generation Americans. The study was funded by the Richard and Rhonda Goldman Fund and the S.H. Cowell Foundation in Baltimore, 410/980-7800)
