Winners of PRNEWS Platinum Awards Announced

Marketing and communication professionals gathered virtually Tuesday to celebrate the PRNEWS Platinum Awards, which mark excellence across people, teams and campaigns.

CVS Health & Kaplow Communications won the PRNEWS GameChanger Award for their CVS Beauty Mark Initiative, and also took home top honors in the Media Relations: Agency category.

AT&T and FleishmanHillard’s campaign, “An Essential Service Provider's Response to the COVID-19 Crisis,” won several awards, including Best Global Crisis Communications/Crisis Management, Online Press Room/Media Center and Website Launch or Redesign.

Cox Communications was the winner in Digital Communications and Social Good for its campaign: One Call a Day.

Also winning multiple awards was the UN Foundation for its campaign focused on the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO. The team collected top honors for Global PR Campaign and Social Good Campaign During a Global Crisis.

Marianne Harrison of John Hancock was named CEO of the Year, and Virginia Hock of Children’s Health was designated PR Professional of the Year.

Three agencies were named to top firms of the year: Adam Ritchie Brand Direction, Firehouse Strategies and Vested, for Boutique Agency of the Year, Small PR Agency of the Year and Medium PR Agency of the Year, respectively.

The @WeAreCisco Talent Brand was designated Marketing Team of the Year, and CCOMGROUP won top honors for PR Team of the Year.
