Fortune, in an effort to keep its ad sales staff energized in a tough year, will sponsor an editors' conference next month in Colorado, designed to yield special issues tailor-
made for sales. Dubbed "The 100 Smartest People We Know," the conference will catalyze a special October issue called "What's Next." A fall issue on corporate transformation will
stem from another conference.
