Say What?

Words sometimes escape us, but in this case it would have been a blessing. One would think common sense would preclude a PR pro (even one from a hip L.A. boutique) from using the "F" word in a release. Yet the folks at PR firm green galactic snuck it into the first paragraph of their pitch for an event sponsored by The Disinformation Company, Ltd., a producer of "alternative" digital content. Referring to Disinfo.Con 2000, Creative Director Richard Metzger is quoted as saying, "The event will be 'one part rave, one part performance, and one part mind f*ck."

When contacted by PR NEWS, green galactic said they were only following the client's orders. Okay, we understand the crazy kids on the alternative scene need to preserve their edge. But if you're gonna pitch to old fogies like us, mind your P's...and F's.
