Contrary to what some physicians believe, the Internet does not threaten their role as a favored health information provider for consumers. Inforum's latest Pulse survey found
that 75% of American households rely on physicians as a source of health information compared to 10% of households that go online. The survey also sheds light on other healthcare
trends involving complementary health and charitable giving.
For instance, 17% of households visited a chiropractor last year and 47% made a charitable donation to a healthcare organization.
The survey is based on 100,000 households nationwide.
