PRNEWS today announced the winners of its 2022 Nonprofit Awards.
Sandra Mason of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, Christen Engel of Augusta University & Augusta University Health and Chris Floore of Macon-Bibb County were honored as Communicators of the Year.
The National Confectioners Association Communications and Marketing Team took top honors as this year’s Nonprofit Team of the Year.
During the pandemic, the team created a COVID-19 resource hub for the industry, mobilized members to obtain “essential” status and executed one of its largest campaigns, #HalloweenIsHappening, to reframe the holiday's narrative.
From legislating for budget increases toward dementia care in Australia, to alleviating medical debt of the pandemic’s frontline workers, supplying vaccines to underserved communities and more, winners in the communication and campaigns categories worked on a number of initiatives to better their communities.
