A new online interactive survey that targets the home care and hospice industry is available via a collaborative effort between MSB Associates, Interactive Solutions (Needham, Mass.) and IBM Global Healthcare (Boston). The survey of more than 1,000 healthcare professionals (three-quarters of whom work for Medicare or Medicaid accredited agencies) yields a comprehensive profile of the home care and hospice industry. The 25-question survey features a special section that examines participants' attitudes about the current and future business challenges and the solutions that information technology can offer.
The survey's findings include:
- 49% have worked in the industry for more than 10 years.
- Nearly 50% work at a not-for-profit agency.
