Katie Milgrom has been one of APCO Worldwide’s rising stars since she joined its Chicago office in March 2012. Prior to APCO, Milgrom spent five years in Washington, D.C., first on Capitol Hill as Deputy Press Secretary for Sen. Russ Feingold and then as an account supervisor at JPA Healthcare Communications.
Upon returning to her sweet home of Chicago, Milgrom quickly showcased her strong command of stakeholder communications, health policy and campaign execution to achieve important results for clients in APCO’s health care practice group.
Milgrom serves as project manager for several significant health care accounts, including Family Medicine for America’s Health, Pfizer vaccines, and Bayer Consumer Care. She also oversees the thought leadership and corporate social responsibility workstreams for the BlueCross and BlueShield Association. She is known as someone who manages tough client challenges, engenders the trust of clients, grows clients on her reputation for exceptional work and inspires loyal teams who work with her.
