At 29, Bethany Early has accomplished more than many of her PR peers. Since 2011, she has immersed herself in the niche and complex field of legal PR. This area is particularly challenging given the breadth and depth of the subject matter, which includes issues related to intellectual property, international law and corporate bankruptcy, among many others.
Early’s work in legal PR also has required her to develop a fundamental understanding of multiple industries outside of law, including both the energy and government sectors.
Early’s approach to PR is comprehensive and client focused. She understands that PR fits into a broader framework of marketing and business development. This is reflected in her strategic positioning of law firm clients, which she does by securing highly visible opportunities that are geared toward industry decision-makers. To date, her many successes for clients encompass such diverse publications as the Wall Street Journal, the Charlotte Business Journal and Asian Oil & Gas.
Having started out on the client side as a Communications Manager at a highly respected regional law firm in Charlotte, Early has a deep understanding of the inner-workings of the legal industry and unique law firm culture. This knowledge helped springboard her January 2015 transition to the agency side, where she currently works to implement media relations plans for legal PR and marketing agency Jaffe.
