2016 Rising PR Stars: Gina Chinino, Global Communications Manager, Cushman & Wakefield

Gina Chinino is the Global Communications Manager at Cushman & Wakefield and is responsible for the development and implementation of the communication strategy for Cushman & Wakefield's Global Occupier Services business.

Chinino joined Cushman & Wakefield from The Executives’ Club of Chicago (EC), where she established and directed their communications and marketing program. Her proficiency in media relations has resulted in earned placements in prominent outlets: Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s, Jet and more, garnering nation-wide awareness for the EC.

At Cushman & Wakefield, Chinino's interactive approach to internal communications has produced a 300 percent increase in open rates and click-throughs on employee communications. The pre-existing blog, which had not gained much traction prior to her arrival, has more than doubled its followers and readership, which in turn has made it easier to get executives to participate and bring new ideas. Chinino's high-quality newsletter and video series has been credited by superiors as advancing the new brand and culture during a critical post-merger phase of Cushman & Wakefield’s history.
