Johnnie Moore, VP, Communications, Liberty University
Johnniee Moore, who has been in charge of the university's public and media relations since 2006, has worked with nearly every major media outlet in the country. This year he garnered national press coverage, including a front page article in The Washington Post, a feature on the front page of The New York Times' sports section and a piece in Bloomberg. Moore also has leveraged the university's tri-weekly "Convocation" (which is attended by 10,000 students), as a way to raise awareness of Liberty University among various constituency groups, and authored several Op-Ed pieces, including two articles that went viral.
