PRNEWS today announced the winners of its 2024 Impact Communications Awards, which honor communicators who use their platforms to better their community and the global community at large. Winners are the campaigns, initiatives, and communicators—both internal and external—that are advancing the fight for global change.
Impact Leaders
Five individuals were received special recognition within our Impact Leaders category: Becky Carroll of C-Strategies Inc. as Women’s Empowerment Champion; Destiny K. Chambers of /prompt. for the Pioneer Award; Angela Bradbery of the University of Florida for the Mentor of the Year; Maureen McHugh of Bath & Body Works, Inc. as the Corporate Citizen of the Year; and Curtis Sparrer of Bospar for the Ally Award.
Additionally, five groups or organizational teams were honored as Impact Leaders as well: VOX Global as the ESG Agency of the Year; Bath & Body Works Women’s Inclusion Network for the Employee Resource Group Award; Boden Agency as the Diverse-Owned Agency of the Year; FleishmanHillard as the CSR Agency of the Year; and Subaru of America as the Corporate Citizenship Team of the Year.
Extra Accolades
A few campaigns earned double the accolades and earned wins in multiple categories. The Guardian U.S. and P&G’s “Our Planet, Our Home” campaign was honored for both its video storytelling and its sustainability focus. The Home Depot Foundation’s “Operation Surprise 2022” was recognized as the top Employee Volunteer Program and for its Community Affairs achievements. And Humble Bundle earned accolades in the Humanitarian Aid Campaign category and the top Sustainability/CSR Report.
