Broadcast monitoring vendors Radio TV Reports and Video
Monitoring Services have entered into a limited partnership. Along
with sister company Adbank, which archives video clips of advertising,
radio and TV monitor Radio TV Reports will become part of Video
Monitoring Services (VMS) of America L.P., which will operate as a
limited partnership. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
RTV and Adbank are units of VNU Advertising Expenditure Corp.
Video Monitoring Services is an affiliate of Burrelle's Information
Services. Robert Waggoner, president and CEO of Burrelle's, will
serve as chairman of VMS L.P. (VMS, 212/736-2010)
