Media relations is not what it used to be. New social and digital trends have done away with traditional models and fundamentally changed the way PR interacts with the media and the public.
The revolution is far from over, and PR professionals need to find ways to keep up with what's happening in the industry. Getting that big picture view can be difficult, especially when deadlines keep your eyes glued to your daily tasks (and computer screens).
Cision's “The State of the Media 2015 Report” examines traditional and social media in 2014, the rebranding and reinvention of big-name media companies, and the rise of mobile, video and new media entrepreneurs. The report also features mobile and social insights based on a survey of 200 journalists, bloggers and influencers across broadcast, print and online media outlets.
