It's a candidate's job market and agencies are starting to turn blue from hemorrhaging employees. So it's no shocker that the latest conventional wisdom on the agency scene is
this: invest in employees, keep employees, attract top talent, reduce turnover, maintain better client service, keep clients happy. The latest round of employee-friendly programs
on the market:

  • APCO Worldwide introduces an employee exchange program that allows staff to spend three weeks in another of its 19 offices around the world to gain exposure to
different offices and cultures. The perk is similar to Ketchum's Road Scholar program.
  • The Weber Group launches Weber@Work, a program featuring various alternative work model options, including a four-day condensed week. Manning Selvage & Lee announces a
similar deal, whereby staffers can earn one Friday off every two weeks by working the equivalent hours in the other nine days. (APCO, 202/778-1000; Ketchum, 212/448-4488; Weber
