That Mark Weiner, CEO of Delahaye Medialink Worldwide, has been
named chair of the Commission on Public Relations Measurement and
Evaluation of the Institute for Public Relations (IPR) for 2004.
He's replacing Katie Paine, chairman since 2001. Weiner is arguably
one of PR measurement's most vocal advocates, and is no doubt
swimming upstream, what with the still-not-convinced-that-PR
measurement works attitude so prevalent throughout the C-level....
The IPR has started a new CEO search for the Institute. Jack
Felton, head of the IPR since 1995, has announced that he will step
down at the end of the year.
