Corporate Crisis Response

Among the first companies to offer assistance to the rescue/relief efforts in New York was Starbucks, distributing free coffee to rescue workers at Chelsea Piers. Volunteers
from Stanton-Crenshaw assisted the Red Cross in handling phones, in 12-hour shifts, immediately following the disaster. Edelman and Weber Shandwick Worldwide also rallied
volunteers to cover phones, find experts to comment, field press calls, and work in the field.
