2016 PR People Award Finalists Announced by PR News

Every year the brand communications landscape gets more cluttered with more messages, more images, texts, press releases, PR stunts, Snapchat and Instagram stories, Twitter ads, influencer campaigns and desperate organic Facebook posts. This year was no different. In fact, it was even harder than usual to cut through, thanks to a presidential election—and now a presidential transition—that absorbed everything around it across all media, like the Blob in the eponymous 1958 low-budget drive-in cheapie that launched the career of cool-cat Steve McQueen.

The stalwart, indefatigable souls behind the best PR and marketing campaigns of the past tumultuous, media-saturated year will get the glory they deserve at PR News' Dec. 6 Winter Awards luncheon, which will be held at the historic National Press Club in Washington, D.C. At the luncheon PR News will announce the winners of its 2016 PR People Awards in categories that include Brand Marketer of the Year, Community Relations Professional of the Year, Digital Communicator of the Year, Intern of the Year and Measurement Expert of the Year, among others.

PR News will also honor this year's inductees into its Hall of Fame and celebrate the 2016 Top Places to Work in PR and 2016 Rising PR Stars.

See all the finalists and honorees.
