In the Feb. 17 issue, we offered you the Top 10 Web sites PR
pros are searching in MediaMap's database. Media relations pros
tended to be searching for technology sites, likely because of the
paucity of tech media in today's marketplace.
But when it comes to mainstream news, the list is different. We
asked PRtrak and comScore (which maintains a database of 1.5
million Web users) to share with us the top newspaper sites
consumers use when they need the news.
The following chart includes number of unique visitors per month
as well as a ranking among the 10,000 Web sites PRtrak currently
monitors.
