After a distinguished run of nearly 17 years as a host for Golf Channel/NBC, Kraig Kann joined the LPGA in 2011 as chief communications officer. In his role, he is charged with shaping and delivering all media and communications messaging for Golf’s Global Tour. Together with his staff, Kraig works to promote the personalities and performances of the LPGA’s members, increase tournament media exposure and raise global awareness for the world’s preeminent professional golf organizations for women.

In more than two years at the LPGA, Kraig has overseen the design and implementation of the Tour’s new-look online media center and led efforts to create a new personality driven “LPGA Player Guide.” Kraig and his team have worked to create new media opportunities with outlets including CNN, The Charlie Rose Show, HBO, Forbes, Bloomberg, Weather Channel, Sirius-XM Radio, ESPN The Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Glamour, Fitness, as well as ESPN and a variety of Golf Channel/NBC Sports Group platforms.

Prior to the LPGA, Kraig helped launch and build Golf Channel, growing into the role as the network’s lead studio anchor and host of “Live From” at major championships.

Kraig is a member of the American Sportscasters Association, the Golf Writers Association of America, and serves on the Krilogy Athletic Advisory Board, helping professional athletes manage their careers. He authors a blog that has quickly grown to more than 30,000 followers, speaks and lectures on various topics, and is the founder of HTK Media Consulting.
