Giving employees a greater degree of choice and flexibility in their work experience was a major priority for MWWPR in 2015. This year, MWWPR became one of the only firms in the industry to offer unlimited paid time off to all employees. With work-life balance becoming ever more important, the unlimited paid time off policy is one of MWWPR employees’ most valued benefits.
MWWPR offers another unique benefit available only to employees: Matter More University, a comprehensive professional learning and development initiative for staff at all levels. This summer the agency offered a semester of workshops with an executive coach that focused on building skills to effectively manage teams, strengthening performance in client meetings and new business pitches, stewarding important client relationships and more.
One of the best examples of the opportunities given to employees is MWWVerge. MWWVerge is an internal advisory council created by MWWPR employees who are next generation leaders and “super starts” at MWWPR representing every practice and discipline. Verge is designed to bridge gaps, incite positive change and foster an inclusive workplace, giving junior and mid-level team members a voice to share their insights with senior management. With Verge’s counsel, MWWPR has adopted unlimited paid time off, an office exchange program and a direct line to MWWPR’s C-suite on issues that matter most to them.
