From the moment Janine Kamwene joined APCO Worldwide’s New York office in October 2014, she hit the ground running, participating in a winning new business pitch in her first week. Over the past two years at APCO, Kamwene has proven herself to be an adept media relations specialist. Her ability to deliver consistent results has exceeded APCO’s and clients’ expectations. It is because of this skill that she was selected as account lead for the Fortune 500 transportation and logistics company, Ryder System Inc., spearheading their media outreach efforts and winning outstanding coverage for them.
She is also currently the day-to-day account lead for a major pharmaceutical company’s global health work and recently began work managing the creation of a signature CSR program for a well-known automaker.
