2016 Rising PR Stars: Bailey Jacobs, Senior Manager, Communications, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation

Bailey Jacobs leads the marketing and communications efforts for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center (CCC). In this role, she develops the nonprofit’s communications strategy, oversees the execution of day-to-day tactics, and monitors and reports on success metrics to Chamber Foundation leadership.

In her four years with the organization, Jacobs has built a powerful communications platform that shares corporate citizenship best practices and strategies with CCC’s network of stakeholders. CCC’s reach has grown every year Jacobs has led its communications team. Compared to 2014, CCC’s website traffic increased by 20.5 percent in 2015, its Facebook followers rose by 22.3 percent and its Twitter followers grew by 11.2 percent. This steady growth has helped cement CCC as one of the leading corporate citizenship organizations in the United States.

Jacobs also manages CCC’s blog and guest editorial platform. Under her direction, the CCC blog content has strategically shifted from sharing only CCC updates to sharing a wide-array of cross-sector voices all bolstering CCC’s mission of helping businesses make the world a better place. Last year, Jacobs and her team published more than 120 articles to the blog, accounting for 21 percent of CCC’s overall traffic.
