Eric Mower + Associates
Eric Mower + Associates’ open office spaces were designed to foster collaboration across all departments and staff levels. Also, the agency’s Leadership Assessment Program invites employees to provide confidential upward feedback to managers on their leadership effectiveness.
EMA works hard to make sure all employees feel included. New employees attend a New Employee Orientation, a two-day program held at least once a year in EMA’s Syracuse office, where new hires from all seven offices participate in a fun-filled, informative gathering where new employees get together and learn about EMA from senior staff: its history, philosophy, standards, practices, offices and people. The event includes an IMAX movie, happy hour and dinner to give new hires a more causal venue to get to know one another.
The culture EMA has created is so enjoyable that often employees who leave the firm want to come back. EMA happily welcomes employees back through the firm’s EMAgain Club. Approximately 12% of the company’s employees are people who left EMA only to come back.
