PR News' Celebrates the Top Places to Work in PR Award Winners at an Evening Event at the Edison Ballroom in New York City

New York, NY, November 30, 2017—On November 29, 2017 PR News celebrated the organizations that inspire their employees to do great work while having fun at the Top Places to Work in PR Awards Dinner at the Edison Ballroom. Dozens of organizations attended the luncheon event including Bell Helicopter, Aflac, Ruder Finn, Ketchum and Allstate Insurance Company, for an evening of celebration.

The dinner event began with a reception where guests enjoyed an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. The ceremony kicked off with a keynote presentation from Carrie Kerpen, who talked about all the ways communicators can "work it" whether it be in the workplace or just in life. The winners of the Top Places to Work in PR Awards  represent the bold and innovative communicators setting new standards for digital communications. Southwest Airlines, winner in the crisis management category, demonstrated how the best time to go live can be in the midst of chaos, as they did in 2016 when a router failure triggered massive downtime on Southwest.com.
