Wendy J. Roundtree, APR is an accredited and award-winning communications strategist with a heart for storytelling.

As founder of Jarel Communications, she partners with clients to tell their story to the people who matter through public relations and marketing strategies that drive measurable results. Her industry experience includes ​education, nonprofit, healthcare, real estate, sports and senior living.

Prior to Jarel Communications, Wendy worked for Orange County Public Schools (OCPS), the eighth largest school district in the nation. At OCPS, she specialized in executive speechwriting, employee communications, integrated marketing and media relations. She  has also held public relations and marketing roles with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando and Costa Communications, a full-service agency.

In the community, Wendy serves as a board member for the Orlando Regional Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, the Joe R. Lee Branch of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida and Girls on the Run Central Florida.   Wendy earned an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a B.A. in Mass Communications from Bethune-Cookman University.
