Jennifer Schertz, the senior communications manager for the Certified Angus Beef ^® brand, oversees the company’s corporate communication initiatives, including partner and internal communications, and strategic content development. She brings a journalistic emphasis to her role, sharing not only the brand’s story, but also those of its partners and the beef community.

Before joining the brand’s team, Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Northwestern University. She spent 10 years working as a reporter and an editor for a group of community newspapers and magazines in her home state of Ohio. During that time, she was able to build her story-telling skills that now play a key part in her role as co-creator and editor of the brand’s Newsroom.

When she’s not at work writing about food, she’s at home cooking or baking it. Jennifer also loves traveling and sampling each destination’s signature dishes. She lives with her husband, two stepsons and two spoiled-rotten Yorkies.
